The Parametric Jewelry Collection showcases a harmonious blend of advanced additive manufacturing technologies and mathematically defined forms, offering unique, experimental jewelry pieces. Designed between 2017–2021 for TrendBook, the collection merges traditional Baltic amber with modern technological approaches, highlighting the intersection of technology and artistry.
Grasshopper and DLP: Redefining Jewelry Design
The collection utilizes cutting-edge tools like Grasshopper and Rhino to craft complex geometries that are both precise and flexible. Grasshopper, a Rhino plugin, enables algorithmic design, empowering creators to experiment with forms unattainable through traditional methods. This approach ensures each piece is unique while maintaining design coherence.
In tandem, DLP (Digital Light Processing) technology allows for 3D printing by curing layers of photopolymer resin with precision and detail. By projecting entire layers simultaneously, DLP accelerates the process compared to point-based 3D printing methods. The result is intricate and detailed jewelry pieces, pushing the boundaries of traditional craftsmanship.
ANEMONES
The jewelry piece Anemones was created for TrendBook 2018, representing the trend “Synchromorphism.” Designed in Rhino and Grasshopper, it was produced using DLP 3D printing, silver casting, and amber accents (Ø4 and Ø6). This work was showcased at several exhibitions, including AMBEREXPO in Gdańsk (March 21–24, 2018), INHORGENTA Munich (February 16–19, 2018), the Tour and Taxis venue in Brussels (February 28–March 18, 2018), and the European Parliament (December 4–6, 2018).

TEDDY BEAR LOVE
Teddy Bear Love, created for TrendBook 2019 and representing the trend “Teddy Bears,” is a set of two complementary designs. One piece features a generative, parametric structure inspired by aerospace lattice frameworks, while the other is a solid silver casting. Together, these pieces illustrate technological possibilities and material versatility, combining DLP 3D printing, silver casting, and amber elements.
PUFFER GLITCH PARAMETRIC PENDANT
The Puffer Glitch Pendant, designed for TrendBook 2022 and representing the trend “Glitch,” explores Baltic amber within the aesthetic context of digital distortion, deformation, and disruption. This approach breaks away from traditional amber jewelry design by juxtaposing amber with algorithmically generated forms. The pendant was designed parametrically, produced with DLP 3D printing in polymer resin, and cast in silver..
